THE PRACTICE UTILISES THE FOLLOWING TECHNIQUES:
SPINAL ADJUSTMENTS
The adjustment is a safe procedure used to increase or restore an inflamed and restricted joints range of movement. An inflamed joint can also occur with muscle spasm and pain. When normal movement of the joint is restored, the nervous system can “calm down” and allow the surrounding muscle spasm to release. It is often accompanied by an audible “popping sound”
DRY NEEDLING
This is an effective procedure that treats muscular pain and spasm throughout the body. Using thin acupuncture needles that are inserted into the tissues’, we can effectively increase blood flow and re-modulate the pain response. Not to be confused with acupuncture, the approach is anatomical and based on western neurophysiological principles.
IFC AND DRY NEEDLING
Interferential therapy is used by many physiotherapy clinics to stimulate muscles and deeper lying tissues. Using high frequency signals, the interferential current is often used in conjunction with dry needling in our clinic to accelerate the self-healing process of the body and restore you to a pain-free-state.

FLEXION DISTRACTION
This gentle technique is used to passively stretch the tiny muscles within the spine as well as open the joints of the spine while providing a comfortable release of the muscles of the back in spasm.

Morelli Chiropractic is a cash-based practice with fees in line with Discovery rates. Payment can be made by either cash, credit or debit cards and accounts are to be settled after your session. Your paid account statement will be emailed to you and with your permission, submitted to your respective medical aid for reimbursement to you. Amount of reimbursement is dependant on your medical aid scheme rates. Chiropractic fees are dependent on the required treatment modalities as described by the guidelines of the National Health Reference Price List (NHRPL) in accordance with the expertise of the clinician.
